double serving of competitive SCRABBLE MALTA MAY 2012

For the third year in a row, the Malta Scrabble Club and Centrestar are teaming up to offer a mouth-watering double serving of competitive Scrabble in Malta, consisting of the 4th European Open Scrabble Championship (11th to 14th May) and the 5th Malta International Scrabble Open (MISO) (18th to 20th May), i.e. a total of 56 games and a  minimum total prize money of €3000. The two organisations have chosen the Paradise Bay Resort Hotel,  Mellieha as a venue for this appetizing double event.  The new venue is located in the Northwest of Malta. The hotel offers fantastic recreational facilities,breath-taking sea views, and is only a stone's throw away from Gozo and Comino, Malta' s sister islands. Besides, Malta's new bus service provides regular access to the urban centre of the island. Both tournaments will be directed by Amy Byrne and broadcast live on the web by John Chew.
