After scoring many a one-day tournament win and a string of second and third places in leagues, Nicky Vella Laurenti (shown in photo) has finally registered his first ever league victory after triumphing in Section A of Autumn League 2. 

In managing the feat, Laurenti got the better of top seed David Delicata who, despite scoring the highest average game score and registering the same number of wins as the winner, had to settle for second place due to a marginally smaller aggregate game score difference (aka spread). One win behind the top two finished the Autumn League 1 runner-up Mario Saliba. 

In Section B, Albert Zammit was the clear winner ahead of a buoyant Moses Azzopardi.  

Thanks to this success, Laurenti regains fourth spot on the National Player Ratings List and soars closer to the elite echelon of the top three.
